The Google Play Store and Apple App Store offer In‑App Purchase (IAP) services that enable the sale of various digital goods, such as subscriptions, new features, and other services. The purchase transaction and payment flow are initiated and processed within the mobile application on iOS or Android. After a successful purchase, your backend system must be notified so it can deliver the purchased content or update the user's subscription status.

Laravel’s In‑App Purchase package assists in parsing and validating these purchases, as well as managing subscription lifecycle events—including new subscriptions, auto‑renewals, cancellations, expirations, and more.
