Overview

October provides a straightforward graphical interface for retrieving highlights from Kobo eReaders and synchronizing them with Readwise.

Background

Kobo devices are known for being difficult to extract highlights from. I typically send my own highlights to Readwise, so this tool automates that process in just two clicks.

Technical Details

October is a lightweight, open‑source application developed using React, TailwindCSS, Vite, and Wails, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux.
