Salt is the J.P. Morgan design system—a free, open‑source platform for creating outstanding products and digital experiences across financial services and other sectors. It delivers well documented, accessible components along with comprehensive design templates, style libraries, and assets.
Salt represents the next‑generation iteration of the internal J.P. Morgan UI Toolkit design system, which has already supported the development of more than 1,200 websites and applications.
Over time, as a full‑service solution, Salt will serve as the conduit for delivering a universal design language digitally—providing top‑tier business patterns, content and accessibility guidelines, tooling, and adoption resources.
