Overview

Calypso serves as the WordPress.com front‑end—a polished redesign of the traditional WordPress dashboard implemented as a single‑page web application. It is powered by the WordPress.com REST API and allows users to read, write, and manage all of their WordPress sites from a single interface.

Technology Stack

Calypso is built with JavaScript, featuring a lightweight Node.js server with Express, React.js for the UI, Redux for state management, wpcom.js for API interactions, and a range of other complementary libraries on the front end.
