Authentication Module for Nuxt

Overview

nuxt‑auth is a comprehensive, open-source authentication module designed for Nuxt 3 applications, including static sites. It supports two primary authentication providers:

• local – Username and password authentication. The local provider expects the endpoint to return a token that can be used for subsequent requests.
• authjs – A provider based on authjs (formerly next-auth) that handles most OAuth‑based and Magic‑URL sign‑ins, such as Slack or Notion. While it also supports username and password authentication, this method is discouraged.

Goal

nuxt‑auth aims to provide robust authentication for any universal Nuxt 3 application.
