Overview

The Edward Lear Alphabet is an interactive e‑book that celebrates Edward Lear’s 1871 poem.

Artwork & Design

Public‑domain images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Public Domain Review, and other sources were selected to create a distinct animated illustration for each letter of the alphabet.

Technical Implementation

• The project is built as a Vue.js application.
• Animations are rendered with PIXI.js using sprites, JavaScript, and Canvas.

Project Context

This initiative was a personal passion project undertaken during a period of unemployment while my daughter was surprise‑homeschooling this spring.
