Compatibility and Setup

Because the official create-vue scaffold uses Vite, a test runner that can tap into the same configuration and transformation pipeline is ideal. Vitest was built for this scenario by members of the Vue/Vite teams, ensuring seamless integration with Vite‑based projects and requiring minimal setup effort.
