An interactive password strength meter for Vue.js that utilizes zxcvbn—a password strength estimator modeled after password cracking techniques.

By employing pattern matching and conservative estimation, it evaluates passwords against a wide range of common patterns, including:

• 30 000 frequently used passwords
• Common first names and surnames derived from US census data
• Popular English words sourced from Wikipedia
• Names from U.S. television shows and movies
• Typical sequences such as dates, repeated characters (e.g., aaa), alphabetical or numerical series (abcd), keyboard layouts (qwertyuiop), and leet speak substitutions.
