Description

Define Content for Assistive Technologies

When visual content is presented to users who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, the meaning of that content may not always be apparent.

In most scenarios, semantic markup can make content accessible. However, there is currently no markup that conveys information that is invisible visually yet still audibly readable.

For instance, a button displayed solely with pictograms might appear clear to sighted users, but a screen reader may fail to interpret its purpose.

In these situations, using <VisuallyHidden> is an effective solution.
