Self‑Hosted Ingress‑as‑a‑Service Platform

Wiredoor is a self‑hosted platform that enables secure exposure of internal services, devices, or infrastructure located within private networks, LANs, or isolated environments—without the need to open firewall ports, configure public cloud load balancers, or manually deploy reverse proxies.

At its core, Wiredoor establishes a reverse VPN tunnel using WireGuard. Internal services initiate outbound, encrypted connections to the Wiredoor Server, which serves as the public ingress point. Once connected, internet traffic can be routed into your network through domain‑based rules without requiring any inbound access to the local environment.

The dashboard is built with Vue 3 and TypeScript, styled by Tailwind CSS, and bundled via Vite. Vue’s reactivity and component model make it ideal for a responsive, minimal UI that manages domains, nodes, and exposed services in real time. The backend runs on Node.js (Express + TypeORM) while the CLI is written in Go; the dashboard operates as a standalone SPA that communicates directly with the API. Vue’s composition API and lightweight ecosystem keep the frontend fast, maintainable, and developer‑friendly.
